Chop Chop Inc Deluxe Bundle and DLC
What the Digital Deluxe pack includes, how the 15% discount works, and which extras change gameplay.
Chop Chop Inc sells more than the base Windows Steam app. NullRef Entertainment and rokaplay select ship a Digital Deluxe Bundle plus two optional extras: the Original Soundtrack and the short-story DLC Ducks, Dollars and Dark Beginnings. The base game released August 7, 2026 at about €12.99 / $12.99. The deluxe pack is the same furniture sim plus audio and reading extras at a 15% bundle discount. This page explains what you actually receive, whether owners of the base game should buy the bundle, and what does not change in the workshop.
Cross-check prices on the Steam store page — regional storefronts move. Pair this with Steam Launch Recap, Review, and Patch Notes so you do not confuse DLC with Hotfix #4 balance changes.
What is in the Digital Deluxe Bundle
Studio and store copy after launch list three pieces in the pack:
| Piece | What it is | Changes the save? |
|---|---|---|
| Chop Chop Inc (base game) | Full single-player furniture empire sim | Yes — this is the game |
| Original Soundtrack | Official score as a Steam audio extra | No — listen in the Steam music player or local files |
| Digital story book | Ducks, Dollars and Dark Beginnings short story | No — reading / lore, not a new biome |
The bundle discount is advertised at 15% versus buying the three SKUs separately. If you already own the base game, Steam still lets you buy the bundle: the storefront subtracts the base game from the bundle price so you are not charged twice for the same app. That is the usual Steam complete-the-set behavior; confirm the cart before checkout.
Third-party price trackers in mid-August 2026 listed the deluxe pack around the mid-teens USD depending on region and sale state. Treat those figures as snapshots, not a wiki price lock.
Ducks, Dollars and Dark Beginnings
The short story is optional flavor around the same universe: ducks, money, and the slightly unhinged tone the Steam page already promises. It does not unlock Hamstertech, the Electronics Press, or secret base routes. Those remain in the base game. Read it if you want more Furnox / duck prose; skip it if you only want saws and city contracts.
Do not expect the storybook to replace Secrets, Ducks, and NPCs or the Harold Duck Quest. Those pages document in-game quests. The DLC is a digital text extra.
Original Soundtrack
The OST is a standard Steam soundtrack DLC: extra audio files, not a new axe tier. Useful if you like the workshop / forest cues enough to keep them in a playlist. It does not add in-game radio stations or furniture recipes.
What deluxe does not include
- No extra Steam achievements. The full set is still 21 on the base app — see Steam Achievements.
- No controller support or key rebinding. Those are promised post-launch features, not deluxe perks. See Settings and Keybinds.
- No skip for Hotfix #4 grind. Auto-harvester speed and cheaper metal ingots apply to every owner of the base game.
- No multiplayer. The product remains single-player.
- No Chinese or Russian wiki pages here. Steam lists those store languages; this wiki localizes English and German.
Should you buy deluxe or à la carte?
| Situation | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| New buyer who wants everything | Deluxe bundle — 15% versus three SKUs |
| Already own the base game, want music + story | Buy the bundle (Steam omits the owned base) or add the two DLC SKUs if that cart is cheaper |
| Only care about chopping and shipping | Base game is enough; demo still exists to test |
| Waiting for key rebinding | Buy the base game now; input work is a free patch, not DLC |
If cash is tight, play the free demo, then buy the base game, then add extras later. Demo scope and save notes live on Demo Info.
How this fits the rest of the wiki
Gameplay depth stays in Guides and Walkthrough. Deluxe is a store decision. After you own the app, your first-session path is still Getting Started, Launch Checklist, and Crash Troubleshooting if the client misbehaves.
Studio post-launch notes also thanked Discord and mentioned a deluxe / hotfix week while the player count climbed (community recaps cited a few thousand concurrent owners in the first days). That is context, not a reason to rush DLC.

Buy deluxe if you want the score and the short story at a bundle cut. Buy the base game if you just want to fire Furnox Corp with a sawmill. Either way, Hotfix #4 already shipped to the people who only bought the furniture sim.

What is in the Chop Chop Inc deluxe bundle?
The base game, the original soundtrack, and the digital short story Ducks, Dollars and Dark Beginnings, sold together with a 15% bundle discount.
I already own the game. Can I still buy the bundle?
Yes. Steam typically charges only for the pieces you do not own, so the base game is not billed twice. Confirm the cart total.
Does the short story unlock gameplay?
No. It is reading / lore. Hamstertech, batteries, and the secret base stay in the base game.
Does deluxe add achievements?
No. There are still 21 Steam achievements on the base app.
Is key rebinding part of deluxe?
No. The studio said keyboard bindings are a free post-launch priority, not a paid extra.
